Mentoring for artists

I offer 1-2-1 mentoring for fellow artists and creatives, and this is for you if struggle with…

  • Maintaining your relationship and connection with your art - but you know it’s really important you do as it’s part of who you are

  • Staying connected with what you really want to do with your art - as you often find you get distracted by what you feel you ought / should / need to be doing with it

  • Really letting go and bringing yourself info your art - as you feel there is so much more to your creativity than you are currently expressing, and you’d love to be able to be brave and bring that into your work

What I can bring as a mentor

An intuitive and person centred approach

I will never tell you what you should be doing, but instead will work with you to figure out what you want and need for your art practice, and what feels good for you. My own art practice is very intuitive, and this is therefore naturally how I mentor.

A background in personal development

I have previous experience in life coaching and art therapy, as well as experience of running intuitive adult art classes, all of which feeds into my mentoring practice. I recognise that art is never just art - it is fundamentally part of who we are, and so I take a very holistic approach to meeting where you are at with your art.

My own experience of making art

Having come back to making art 12 years ago, and building my practice ever since, I have a lot of experience of the creative process, the ups and downs and emotional challenges that that brings. I’m always happy to share my experiences of my practice with you at any point where this would be helpful to you.

If my art practice and mentoring approach resonates with you, and you would like to enquire about some possible mentoring, do get in touch and I’d be happy to have a chat to you about what you are looking for and if I can be of help.
