Mural Painting – Time lapse video
This was a mural I painted this Christmas holidays. I was looking for a wall to paint on, as I wanted to paint some bigger work than A1, and my niece Sabina was lovely enough to volunteer her wall.
Her room colour scheme was pink and yellow, so I used colours that went with this. Other than choosing the colours, I didn’t have a plan for the mural, I just got stuck in and let the picture evolve, as I do with the majority of my artwork. It took me a grand total of 3 hours, and the end result was a much a surprise to me as it was everyone else!
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can’t wait to paint my next one for my niece Miranda later this year, plus I’m looking for more opportunities around Oxford at the moment to – perhaps in a doctors surgery, school or nursary. Do let me know of any walls that you know of that could do with being brightened up!
This video was created for me by my lovely husband Dan, and features all 3 nieces (who at one point were playing in the wardrobe on the left hand side!) and my sister in law too!
